Hello, my name is Kasandra...  and my name is Jacquilynn.

We are the Grandchildren of fellow Rockers, Rick and Sharon Day.

The pull tabs that you are gratefully saving are for these two sisters.  They both have health problems and need the support received by saving pull tabs.

Jacquilynn (age 10) has been diagnosed with Microcephaly, Epilepsy and ADHD at 18 months.  She needs learning aids, she is physically and developmentally delayed from this condition.  Once a year she has to go to Children's Hospital to undergo a brain scan to monitor her progress.

Kasandra (age 8) has been diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes and ADD in August of 2006.  She is going to be needing an Insulin pump in the near future.  Her Diabetes must be stabilized before she can receive the surgically installed pump.

The money raised from the pull tabs will be used for medical supplies, insulin strips, glucose tabs, insulin and constant visits to both their family doctors and the doctors at Children's Hospital.

Diabetes is a very cruel disease.  Without proper treatment you may lose your eyesight and other serious problems may develop.
