Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I cannot make either the Pre-Registration on Friday or the Ride on Saturday but would still like to get my Betty Boop commemorative bandana? How can I get them?
A: Please have a friend, family member or other participant that plan to be there, pick it up for you. If that doesn’t work, please send your pledge sheet and monies to: RRCRF, 1288 Summit Ave, Suite 107, Oconomowoc, WI 53066
Q: Is the ride optional?
A: The ride is optional, but highly recommended. If you choose not to go on the ride, please plan to register at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson on Saturday morning. You can then head to Olympia after 11:00 AM.
Q: How long is the ride and are there stops?
A: The ride is approximately 70 miles throughout southeastern Wisconsin. It is a continuous ride (all intersections controlled) with one rest stop at approximately the half way point. The rest stop will be a gas station where you can use the restroom, grab a bit or beverage and fill up with gas if needed.
Q: Can I get the route before the ride?
A: For safety reasons, we do not publish the ride until after the event.
Q: Are the driver and passenger required to have their own pledge packet?
A: No. The Sponsor Sheet (located in every pledge packet) has two categories, one for the participant (Driver) and one for the passenger. The body of the Sponsor Sheet has a “Paid Donation – Participant” and “Paid Donation – Participant or Passenger”. These sections are to be used to identify those individuals who have donated to either the driver or passenger.
Q: For the Friday evening Pre-Registration party, do you have to pay the $40 donation per person?
A: Yes. The $40 that you pay on Friday evening provides you access to ALL activities for both days and we encourage each and every person to take part in all the activities. In the event you cannot make one of the days, please keep in mind that you have made a generous donation to help fight breast cancer.
Q: If I collect donations in excess of the minimum $40 donation, do I still have to pay the $40 for myself?
A: No. The minimum amount of money we ask of each participant is $40. Please keep in mind; this is a minimum and many of our participants exceed $200 in donation and in doing so, have met the minimum donation of $40
